The details of the Indian Army TES vacancy for the July 2023 batch will be released along with the A total of 90 vacancies are released by the Indian Army for choosing candidates for various training academies. The candidates who complete the selection process, as well as the training program of 5 years, are awarded the Permanent Commission in the Army on the rank of Lt.
Indian Army TES 49 Eligibility Criteria 2022
Every candidate who is willing to apply and appear for the selection process of TES 49 2022 is required to fulfill the basic Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme eligibility criteria that are released by the Indian Army:

Nationality
The candidate should be an unmarried male having permanent citizenship in India. In addition to this, he should also have the relevant documents required to prove this point. The candidates are asked to remain unmarried until their training is over, on refraining from this rule the candidate will be disqualified from the selection process.
Age Limit
- The age of the candidate should not be less than 16 ½ years and not more than 19 ½ years.
- The candidate’s age mentioned on the matriculation certificate will be acceptable by the Indian Army.
Educational Qualification
The candidates who have passed 10+2 (class XIIth) with 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as major subjects from a recognized board will be allowed to apply for the TES 49. However, for the upcoming TES 49, JEE Mains scores of the candidates will be admissible.
Physical Standards
- Height: The minimum height of the candidate should not be less than 140 cm.
- Weight: The minimum weight for the candidates of all the age is 35.3 kgs. Apart from this, the candidates are required to consider their weight proportionate to their height from the Physical standard released by the army.
- Body Mass index should be below 25.
- The waist and hip ratio should be 0.9 for males and 0.8 for females.
- Waist size should be less than 90 cm for males and 80 cm for females.

Indian Army TES 49 Selection Process 2022
According to the selection process of Indian Army TES Entry 2022, there are three stages for shortlisting candidates. Only those candidates who qualify for all three rounds will be called for the final joining of the training process conducted by the army.
Stage 1: Shortlisting
The first stage is the Shortlisting of the candidates is done by the integrated HQ of MoD. The list is prepared based on the marks scored by them in the class 12th (10+2) examination. However, as per the latest updates for TES 49, JEE Mains scores will be mandatory for the candidates willing to apply. The authorities fix cut-off marks and the candidates having equal to or more than that will be sent to the next stage of the selection process.
Stage 2: SSB Interview
Stage 2 of the Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme TES 49 selection process is the SSB Interview that is held for 5 days. There are five stages in the same and the details of each stage are mentioned in the space below:
